Bus from Varadero airport to Havana

The Viazul.cu bus service has a direct service from the airport to havana, one leaves at 4 pm which you might make or the other one at 6 30 which you will make it. the fare one way is 11 cuc. ( about 8 euroes). it is 3 hours and 134 km and a nice ride indeed. one stop at matanzas for five minutes.
you can book and pay on line: the fare would be shown in usd on your credit card billing plus 11 per cent charges.
please make sure you have a good place to stay since january is a busy month in havana, usually with film festival and jazz festival and perhaps even book fair.. all on different dates but in january..

Via Azul to Varadero from Havana

There is a bus service to Varadero from Havana. it is the cheapest and convenient way of getting there. it is only 10 cuc one way. and the trip is three hours long. there are two departures one at 8 am and the other at 12 noon. comfortable buses and nice staff. www.viazul.cu you can even book on line.Viazul is mainly for the tourists to the island.
