This port for Santiago de Chile, declared recently a patromonio de la humanidad, is a charming place to be.. I prefer it over the hustle and bustle and impersonal attitudes of Santiago de Chile.
The town nestles between the sea and the hills that surround them, with most people living up in the hills and the down town area nudging in the small strip of land
One of the three houses of Pablo Neruda was in Valparaiso.. sebastiana up in the hills.. only house you are allowed to walk freely around, the others, chascona in santiago de chile and isla negra one has to be part of a group or be accompanied by the guide...
