The Las Vegas Hilton is our favorite place to stay and play in Vegas. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and if you are a gambler the comps are fantastic. We do occasionally stay at other venues but The Hilton is usually our place. The pool is good sized although a little crowded in the summer. They have the Star Trek: The Experience which is a must see for any die hard fan!
Unique Qualities: The staff is outstanding here. They will go out of thier way for you. There are 14 restaurants to choose from.

We have stayed here one time and it was really great. We were in the Masquerade Tower which is right off of the Masquarade Village. Best part of the casino for fun. Not the best for gameing:).This is an off strip property but not far at all. If we werent always comped elsewhere we would stay here again.
Unique Qualities: The pool area is so nice!! I wish I had a picture to show you but I dont. Here is a website that features many vegas pools. www.vegas.com/resorts/pools/ This is an all Suites hotel and very nice indeed. There are 16 restaurants here. 2 of them are Buffets. The Seafood buffet is open for dinner only but be sure and bring your appitite.Another really neat aspect of this hotel is the Masquerade in the Sky that happens daily at 3:30, 4:30,5:30,7,8,9,&10p.m. in the Masquerade Village Casino. The Scintas are a great show also and if they are still there worth it to see.

This is a nice locals casino and hotel in North Las Vegas. The rooms are standard size and have either 1 king or 2 full size beds. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. The staff was really great in all aspects from hotel check in to cocktail waitresses. We will definately stay here again. If you don't have a car it is not a place for you as it is not near the "Strip". Take a chance and get a car and experience the rest of Vegas.
Unique Qualities: The buffet is outstanding. Lots of great food to choose from and the selection varies daily. Another great thing about the Fiesta is the coffee shop. Great prices!

The Plaza Hotel is at the top of Freemont Street. It is old style Vegas for sure. The rooms are worn but very clean and comfortable. I like the convience of being right at the tip of the downtown Freemont Experience yet easy access to the parking garage.
Unique Qualities: The Plaza has a nice pool area with a jogging track and tennis courts. If you get a room in the North tower request a view and you can get a great view overlooking Freemont Street.

This is one beautiful place to be! This hotel has evrything you could want for a posh relaxing vacation. Although we have not stayed here yet friends of ours do and they love it. After hanging out in the rooms I can see why. This is an all suite hotel and they are not skimpy on the amenities. The beds are so comfortable. (yep I had to check it out!) The pools are very nice and The Spa is one of the largest of its kind in the country.
Unique Qualities: The Grand Canal Shoppes are set in an interesting village like setting. Yes the Grand Canal runs right between them. There are 16 restaraunts in here from casual to elegant and many in between. The Gondola rides are worth checking out. We have only observed but plan on doing it the next visit. Madam Tussauds is definately another must see when you visit.

This is an absolutely HUGE hotel and a bit confusing when you first go to your room. When you arrive you go to the main check-in area and once you are done they will direct you toward the elevators. Pay attention to your room # as you will need it to figure out which doorway to go thru to get to your correct elevator. Once you get to your room you will find that it is a very pleasant space with soft nuetral colors and comfy beds. The service is very good and they will provide you with extra pillows and towels if needed which is nice. There are vending machines and ice machines located on each floor but once again pay attention to where your room is because you can make a wrong turn and get a bit lost. With 5005 rooms you can imagine the sheer size of it. We had it down by the next day tho. Rooms are very good sizrd and offer some great views of Vegas if you ask.
Unique Qualities: The pool complex is definately something to experience. There are five diffrent pools to choose from and each one is a bit diffrent. There is also a long , lazy river that you can float down on rented water floats or just on your own. Very serious fun with waterfalls and everything. Also inside the pool complex are three whirlpools that seemed to get alot of attention. :) From the website here are the pool hours: September 5 - October 31: 8:00am - 7:00pm (Pools open Monday - Thursday: Academy Pool, Producer's Pool, and Director's Pool and Pools open Friday - Sunday: Academy Pool, Producer's Pool, and Director's Pool.) The Backlot River will be open September 5 - October 31 Friday - Sunday 10:00am - 5:00pm. As you see not all pools are open all the time but this is still a wonderful and relaxing place to go even for a stroll through the lush gardens. Probably my favorite thing about the hotel.
