While there is no doubt that there is more to Anaheim then Disney. I must admit that is the reason I return to this area again and again. The Los Angeles Angels do play here and I have enjoyed a game or two but the real reason I am here is Disney. Did you know that Walt Disney was from Marceline, MO? The Main Street USA in Disney was inspired by our nations small town at the turn of the century. 20th century that is. :) Also did you know that comedian Steve Martin got his start right here in Disneyland? Thats right at the Main Street Magic Shop! Thats a little Disney trivia for you. :) Disney's newest addition California Adventure is really a great way to spend some of your Disney time. If Disneyland seems overcrowded skip on over to California Adventure. You will be amazed at the diffrence. Some folks say they do not like it but I LOVED it. |
