Great Stirrup Cay is the private playground for Norwegian (NCL) Cruise Lines. The first of its kind Great Stirrup Cay was developed in the 70's to be a private island retreat. Always a port when going to the Carribean on NCL. The ships anchor off shore and you take a tender into the island giving it an even more secluded feel. NCL ensures that you enjoy your outing by providing a BBQ and rentals for all kinds of water activities. You can also kick back and soak up the rays grab a drink and just do nothing. |

spgood301 Wed Aug 1, 2007 17:09 UTC I'm not sure where I'm flying into yet, will have to see where I'm flying from first :-) | Stephen-KarenConn Fri Jun 29, 2007 16:12 UTC We're considering a cruise for next January which makes a stop at Great Stirrup Cay. Thanks for the helpful tips. | starship Wed Mar 7, 2007 17:29 UTC Reading this page makes me yearn for our next Caribbean cruise! We stopped at this island while on the NORWAY in 2002 (our tablemates got so sunburned!!). Great memories--thanks for sharing! | keida84 Wed Dec 27, 2006 18:06 UTC Snorkeling is so much fun! The water is so clear where you were--not like the Pacific here on the West Coast, eh? Maybe it is time to check out the Caribbean. Happy New Year, Love, Kat |
