Great Stirrup Cay
Great Stirrup Cay is the private playground for Norwegian (NCL) Cruise Lines. The first of its kind Great Stirrup Cay was developed in the 70's to be a private island retreat. Always a port when going to the Carribean on NCL. The ships anchor off shore and you take a tender into the island giving it an even more secluded feel. NCL ensures that you enjoy your outing by providing a BBQ and rentals for all kinds of water activities. You can also kick back and soak up the rays grab a drink and just do nothing.

I'm not sure where I'm flying into yet, will have to see where I'm flying from first :-)

We're considering a cruise for next January which makes a stop at Great Stirrup Cay. Thanks for the helpful tips.

Reading this page makes me yearn for our next Caribbean cruise! We stopped at this island while on the NORWAY in 2002 (our tablemates got so sunburned!!). Great memories--thanks for sharing!

Snorkeling is so much fun! The water is so clear where you were--not like the Pacific here on the West Coast, eh? Maybe it is time to check out the Caribbean. Happy New Year, Love, Kat
