Where's Twizel?

On the road from Christchurch to Wanaka, on Highway 8 is a tiny town great for an introduction to the NZ way of life. It's a half day's ride from Christchurch and a good place to start your exploration of the South Island. We took a heli-bike tour, up to the top of a big hill from Twizel, and back down by specially equipped bicycle.
