TUNIS

Hammouda Pacha Mosque
Tunis is the capital city of Tunisia and it is an interesting mix of new, old,Arabic and French. Although many tourists make day trips here to visit the medina, the Bardo Museum and the surrounding towns of Carthage and Sidi Bou Said, it didn't seem to me to be a city where many tourists actually stayed. I spent two days in Tunis and the surrounding towns . I had a nice time and I think I probably could have easily spent three or four days there.
