Yes, Prague is a wonderful place to visit. And if you have a nice 'local guide' it becomes even more interesting. Bth, you were right about Namibia - it's simply fantastic.
I see you were in safe hands :) Exploring a new city with a local guide is always nice. They bring you to those hidden little places that you wouldn't find by yourself. About the soup, we have something similar - mushroom soup in a bread bowl. Yummy! :)
Gil, fabulous page about the Czech capital, but it looks like you are getting old from as you nowadays drink alcohol free beer in the morning. However, I am glad to see that you feel safe when two policeladies are around.
Prague is a great destination! Have been there twice but I actually wonder why I haven't seen any of the Jewish buildings...must have sitting too long in my favourite park.
It was a pleasure looking through your pages. We've penciled in a day for the Jewish quarters and a day for the Castle. The rest we will have to fit in 1 day !
A non-alcoholic beer? Gil, you will lose your reputation. Worse yet, not any "regular" beers...in Prague?? Ok, at least you have a pretty guide and your "other" reputation is safe. ;> Jewish Quarter looks great, must go next time..in between beers.
