Getting TO/AROUND: Most international airlines and some budget airlines fly to Vienna which makes its very attractive for the visitor to come and visit. Also the train connection to/from the airport is ather easy to the city.

Getting TO/AROUND: There is very good public transportation in Vienna, the underground, tram and bus system will take you anywhere you need to. In this picture a nice tram in front of the opera.

Getting TO/AROUND: Bicycles, like many cities in Europe, also Vienna has city bicycles where you can use for a ride. And this was even more advance, you can pay even with your credit card here.

Getting TO/AROUND: Austria and Vienna is in the middle of Europe. There is excellent train connection here from west or east. I did not use the train this time as I came by flight but even in this case it was useful as I took the local S train from / to the airport.

Getting TO/AROUND: You seldom need to use a taxi here, metro, tram and buses are sufficient, but you might need it if you are well dressed going to the concert hall or opera house.

Getting TO/AROUND: There are few lines of buses to and from the airport. There is a bus that will take you to the edge of the city centre to the Swedish square (Schwedenplatz) and in that area actually there are few nice pensions and guesthouses, so it can be very practical using it.
