Getting TO/AROUND: The Heathrow Express is the fast train from the airport to down town in the city, it is running fast and expensive, so if you are on a holiday and can spare few more minutes you can take the Heathrow Connect and get to the same place a little bit later.

Getting TO/AROUND: The Heathrow Connect is the other train to connect you from the airport to down town in the city, it is not as fast but it is doing exactly the same job for much less money, so if you are not of the run you can easily use this service.

Getting TO/AROUND: I like the London bus system, it is usually easy to use and rather frequent, if you know your way it is saving you all the time of going down and up the underground as well as you can see outside where it is taking you.

Getting TO/AROUND: Taxi is a convenience way to get around, but expensive as well. Depends of course how far you want to go. The classic black taxis are still there, but not always black as they used to be.

Getting TO/AROUND: You can take a cruise on the river themes with one of many local cruise companies. On a nice sunny day that can be very nice experience.

Getting TO/AROUND: Greater London is very large area, there is no way you can walk everywhere, so just use the public transport and hope in and out for a nice walk where you want to visit, it is very easy as long as it is not raining ;-)

Category: Bus
Getting TO/AROUND: Try to avoid using a car, they are all driving on the wrong side and you will not find parking anyway. I prefer to uses the buses, I am on holiday and not on the hurry as you can also see something from the windows as well. The underground is just a quick connection everywhere.

Getting TO/AROUND: The British rail which used to be state owned is now divided to many local and global companies who will try to take you into and out of London to any destination as quick as possible for expensive as well as reasonable price, just check the options, time table and price according to your travel plans.
