Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Sandals: Malta is a small island and usually sunny and warm. Take sandals with you, which will be most useful.
Hat and Shades: Will be useful as well.
Miscellaneous: Suntan location if you plan to spend time outside and not only at the nightclubs
