We loved our '03 visit to Namibia. You are spot on about the roads/tires and about the local lagers. Excellent beer - the Germans taught them well.

Excellent tips on your experiences with Windhoek! Namibia is a country that is high on my visit 'wish list' but something always seems to thwart my plans! Maybe next year....
