Where the desert meet the read sea

Eilat is the southern city of Israel located on the edge of the desert in the northern shore of the red sea.

It is not a typical Israeli town, it is a holiday resort and so it is a great place to rest and relax if you wish as well as for desert and sea adventures.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Sun, sea, desert and everything.
Cons:They destroy the beautiful promenade by the beach.
In a nutshell:It is always sunny in Eilat

I have always wanted to go Eilat for snorkelling..you don't mention it! Where is the main pic taken?...that the kind of place I like to snorkle! Good pages!

Funny, this looks quite a bit like Fort Lauderdale! lol You sold even me on drinking water and is it my imagination or is my favorite photo an old scanned shot from an old trip?

nice Eliat tour, the Tinma natural park looks really interesting, but my favourite activity there would sure be the chance of swimming with dolphins.
