A World Class facility dedicated to showcasing the sealife found in all areas of the Pacific Ocean. The aquarium is a striking design meant to convey the power of the sea. It has life sized blue whales suspended from the ceiling, 30 foot tall tanks, million gallon tanks, hands on exhibits, special exhibits, sea lion shows, sea otter shows, etc. We are quite proud of it and were very enthusiastic Charter Members. Special functions are held here on occasion.

Attend the Long Beach Gran Prix. One of the few 'World Class' events staged in Southern California. Lots of people, celebrities, beer drinking and sun. Just a great time. We live a couple of miles from the course and can hear the cars during time trials. No one drives all weekend. We take all the car keys and hide them and ride the bus to the races for three days. We have a big flop over during the weekend and have anywhere from 6-20 people staying at our house. Puts a real strain on the plumbing!

Flying: Fly in a real Biplane!

Fly in a real Biplane! See the port, Queen Mary, Palos Verdes, Point Fermin, etc. from the front seat of a 1930s Navy Stearman. Long Beach Airport is a relic from the 'Golden Age of Flight.' The DC3 was designed and built here and it is the place where the C-17 is built now. There is a company called BIPLANE FLIGHTS that operates from Hanger 11. You go up and do acrobatics, scenic cruises, etc. They even have a Biplane that seats two people up front for romantic flights. It's a blast. I did loops, turns, hammerheads and got to take the stick and fly level. All of this for under $200.00 They have some rides for as little as $99.00 This is something you don't find anywhere and I will certainly be back for more!

A collection of individual shops, bars, and restaurants with a boardwalk and awesome views of the Pacific Ocean, the Queen Mary, and the Long Beach Marina. You can haver a rent a boat, take a harbor cruise, buy a Stetson hat, eat Sushi, have strudel, do a shot of tequila, get your picture made, and buy some habanero hot sauce and you still have only hit 5% of the places here!

Sun Worship. Hang out at the beach or the pool. Our beach community is famous for the LONG (Get it, Long Beach?)beaches with gentle waves. Here is my best friend Bosco hanging out by the pool.
