Gorgeous - Bath

Bath and Stonehenge

I took an Evan Evans tour for the day from Victoria Station in London. We went to Stonehenge and then to Bath. I'll admit that I was primarily interested in Stonehenge but Bath just blew me away. I was not prepared for it to be so picturesque, friendly, history laden, and relaxing.
I was mesmerized by the beautiful countryside on the way in and by the city itself. It has a rich and wonderful history and I was sorely dissapointed that I only got to spend a few hours here. nect time I come to the UK I will get here for a few days.

UPDATE - I met a buddy of mine in London for a few days and he wnated to go to Stonehenge for a day trip. I recommended we do this tour and even though it was more of the same I was still taken by how picturesque this town is. Bath is a gem.

Pros and Cons

Pros:A wonderful surprise
Cons:None I could see and that is rare for me!
In a nutshell:A great day out!

Sadly Evans chippy shut several years ago (yes, it was good!) and F.East has also recently shut down.
