Even though the communist ideology is dead in Russia and other former "socialist" states, it is alive in Italy. Italy was home of the Red Brigades after all. This poster was in place just before the Iraq invasion in 2003. Peacenik apparatchniks were all over the place and every sideline or splinter party out there was trying to make hay of the whole war question.
