I love this place and it has been WAY too long since I have been there. Cyprus has something for everyone. It has the Med, great food, friendly people, an incredible history and is very exotic to most Westerners.
You can go from beaches to mountains. You can go from pine trees to palm tress, cherry orchards to banana farms. You can hear Middle Eastern music and Top of the Pops in the same place. You can explore Roman ruins and British lighthouses. You can have McDonald's and a Gyros.
All in all it is one of the most hospitable places I have ever visited and I have to find a way to get back. |
