Lots of tourists never get far beyond London. I was lucky enough to spend 8 days in Derby, Yorkshire and Northumberland before I ever moved here. I never could have imagined how many wonderful places I'd see. The picture on this page is of Fountains Abbey....just one of many, beautiful ruins that we can still enjoy today and imagine in it's glory many centuries ago.
