"THE OLD HOME TOWN" Philadelphia by zuriga
Philadelphia Travel Guide: 2,083 reviews and 4,048 photos
I've been in or going to Philadelphia most of my life. My latest trip was September, 2001 - Things were buzzing... new, great restaurants and many interesting places to visit.
This is the Philadelphia Museum of Art. You can almost see Rocky (of movie fame) running up the steps.
- Pros:My Home Town.. familiar, historic
- Cons:Ah, can't think of one thing.
- In a nutshell:Well worth a visit - great food and people.

Nice job on your old home town! We love Philly!
I will keep that in mind...thanks! :-)
Yes, I've driven by the illuminated skyline of Philadelphia on more than one occasion - while streaking toward the Florida beaches! One of these days I really must stop! Nice tips.
thanks for the tips. I'm in Phila. right now...but no Rocky running up the steps. (smile)
Now sporting more barriers, checkpoints, fences, and security guards than ever before! Also, they have completed a smattering of Independence Mall Exhitainment facilities since your last visit, zuriga
Haven't get to Philadelphia, in all my America tours :-(( . Maybe next time :-))
Thanks for making Philadelphia look fun and interesting. I love South Street, it has really grown lately.
We stayed at the Marriot while at a conference there.
