"DORKING... NOT WOKING" Dorking by zuriga

Dorking Travel Guide: 4 reviews and 25 photos

Dorking is a good-sized town not far from Leatherhead and Guildford. The High Street is filled with busy shops (the usual ones) and there are quite a few good restaurants, a cinema and a great deal of enterprising businesses. This church has one of the highest steeples in all of England. Dorking is very well known for its antique dealers who populate West Street.

Just outside Dorking is the National Trust Site called the Stepping Stones. It's at the bottom of famous Box Hill.

You do such nice work with the small English villages/towns. Looks like a place I would really enjoy.

Another lovely little English town! How do people pass each other on those stones?
