This page is mostly about Ayrshire - the beautiful county south of Glasgow. It's Robert Burns, castles, golf and so much more. I'll also include a bit about Glasgow itself, Stirling Castle to the north and the rest of my trip will be on an Edinburgh page.
This shows the Carrick Hills looking out to Ayr and Prestwick. On the left is the Isle of Arran - a 45 minute ferry ride will take you to this lovely, large island. |
