Rye Travel Guide: 89 reviews and 240 photos

Rye is a wonderful town for exploring and getting the feel of English town life. It still has cobble-stone streets and the obligatory tearooms and antique shops. There's a lot of history in Rye, including the Ypres Tower built in 1209. Rye is one of the Cinque Ports - home to fishing boats and smugglers over the years.

Thanks for a lovely glimpse of Rye June! I LOVE Rye... and have a particular fondness of odd/quaint doors... which Rye has in abundance! lol Thanks :) Jen x
