  Thanks for scanning and sharing your 1994 photos. It’s interesting to see what Prague looked like just a few short years ago. I like your description of your “still authentically Communist” experience of buying a rail ticket in 1994 but then having a fun time interpreting on the train between the conductor and the other people in your compartment.

  We visited Prague in 2000. Stunning city with woderful people. Made many friends in the process. Can recommend the Corinthia Towers Hotel (4*) Close to old town but not in coty centre. 8min by subway. Must try local drink Becherovka -
