I spent just two days in Cairo on my way home from a conference in Sharm-el-Sheikh (yes, it's a tough job I have). While I was there, I ran over to the Pyramids, spent a good few hours at the Antiquities Museum, and walked around what the Rough Guide calls "Islamic Cairo." My shots of the Pyramids are pretty run-of-the-mill, but I had a better time wandering the streets anyway. |
