about the lagushao dam

the dam and the electric factory built in 1940's. thousands of chinese compelled by guizi ( japanese soldiser) to make this asian first largest dam at that time, and 20,000 died during the project. now, china and korea share the dam and the electric.

shuifeng reservoir

upon the dam, it's the great shuifeng reservoir. the dam block the yalu river and make a lager lake where you can find beautiful and natural scenery.

Many died at forced labor building the dam, but the Shuifeng Lake is a beautiful monument to them. Perhaps we could fish on this lake someday.
