"A Famous Port of Hunjiang River" Shajianzi by yangshu

shajiazi, now a small village with hundred of houses and a huge bridge, has been a very famous port linking hunjiang river and yalujiang river and got a surname, little shanghai. the history of the port is from 1906 to 1936, only 30 years. during the best time, it was a big town with hundred of stores. all the stocks from shenyang, tonghua, huanren will gather here and transfer into big boat to yalujiang and then to yellow sea. it has been the transportation hub in northeast china during first decade in 1900s.

now, you can look, it is a small village with about 200 hundred peoples. during winter time, they always stay at home. some fisher will set net under the thick ice and got big stock fishes. at night, it is so quiet. when moon rises up, hens think it is sun and shout out to awake the people.
