I went to Boston, Massachhusetts in March 2001 on a holiday which also included a stay in New York. We travelled from London Heathrow to Boston with American Airlines. On the approach to Boston you could see out the windows that the ground looked white. We were told as we were approaching that it had been snowing very heavily over the past few days and that in fact the airport had been closed due to the conditions. We did not expect that the snow in places would be around 3ft deep. There were continous travel warnings all the time we were there but it did not stop us having a great time. Boston was beautiful and with the snow as well it was even nicer. I would go back there tomorrow if I had the money. All the pictures on this page are personal photos taken by myself or by my fellow traveller. |
