This page isn't actually on the town of Grenoble so some of you may be disappointed. This is the nearest big town to a skiing resort called Risoul located in the French Alps. I went here in December after receiving a free invitation to visit (perks of the travel trade). I went for a long weekend from Thursday to Monday. We drove down and stopped en-route in the French town of Reims. The journey was a long, tiresome one and we were glad when we finally arrived. On arrival (with the engine of the car about to overheat) we were greeted with an ice cold wind and not much snow :-( |
