Hi!

Since you have come to my VT pages, I'd like to welcome you. In these pages, I'm trying to hold some kind of travel diary. The goal is to present something out-of-ordinary and the things that I've really liked (and lot of beer tips). There may not be enough pictures, but that is due to my lack of scanner. Hopefully things will come better.

Few words about me: I'm 30 year old and I've born in Finland. I was born in Jalasjärvi, Finland and spent my university years in Tampere. It is still the city I like the most in Finland.

After university, I lived ~2 years in Munich, Germany. Then moved back to escape the recession in Germany, and get a new job in Vantaa. We have been moving from Kirkkonummi to Helsinki and now to Vantaa.

These pages have been 'under construction' for too long now. I'm going to fix them in a near vicinity. Hopefully getting some fresh ideas about how to represent things etc.

Well... Now something totally different. It's been ages since I last time updated these pages (VT is absolutely splendid thing, though!) Been just too busy mostly concerning work...

There is so much things to do.

First, I am going to update these pages. The main priority is to refresh my Finland-related pages up-to-date. So much has been going on and most of my links are totally outdated which can be seen of the steady collapse of my VT Rank index. Mostly, the tips will be involved in Helsinki area since that is where I'm currently mostly involved.

Secondly, I should update the pages for last two years. There are plenty of travels. My tips for Thailand should be built. As well new tips for my travels within last two years, being Stockholm, Tallinn, Rome, Naples, Tuscany and Zillertal. Sooo plenty of tips to give...

Well, of course, plenty of plans. July going to Ireland, Scotland and Paris. I've never been in France and not that I have anything against Frenchmen but it has just been the case. Try to fix it now, at least by some degree. Going to take it easy or at least easier than normally. We are going mostly hiking and of course taste some splendid irish and scottish beer (dark ones) and whisk(e)y.

Then, our beloved flying company Finnair remembered me after a while. For some reason, they hadn't sent me any messages in one year or so and now surprisingly that my regular flyer- points are expiring. When I started collecting the points, I had plans to get enough for inter-continent flight but surprisingly they increased the limit significantly. Maybe they just found out that people actually flew enough to achieve it. So, now I just have to take them out. Most likely going to Vilnius.
