In the last years I spent some time reading the archives about the war, the prisons, the camps, etc.. in what now is Bosnia Herzegovina. It's difficult to write a page about this country. When you're there it's impossible not to think continuously of the terrible things that happened, especially when you walk around the towns and still see destruction, and serbs and moslims not sitting at the same bar. That's why I decided to put a picture of beautiful rural BiH in this intro page; just some houses in the forest where maybe it does not matter if the inhabitant is Serb or Moslim or Croat. Peace to BiH. The people really deserve it. |

Thank you. | ovejaras Wed Jul 28, 2004 04:52 UTC I'm glad you enjoyed my country :o). You described it very well, and I hope that you will go back one day when everything is rebuilt! Thank you for sharing! Greetings. :o) Isidora | Tile Sat Jun 26, 2004 16:01 UTC It's not true that Serbs, muslims and Croats are not sitting at the same bars. It's only in few little towns and some (not all) rural areas where they are separated. But in the cities, and some other villages, they live and drink together. |
