Sorica

Sorica is one of the most picturesque settlements in Gorenjska area.
A village, very well regulated, with cute white houses strewn among green meadows is located under Mt. Ratitovec.
And in this special village is the birthplace of slovene impressionist painter - Ivan Grohar

Lovely countryside....reminds one of Switzerland or Pennsylvania! :-) And I saw that Timy peeking around the monument! I think he likes this place too.

Sorica is a definite Slovene gem high in the hills between Skofa Loca and Bohinj. I drove the opposite direction to your route and was amazed by its beauty. Thanks for your more informational tips. Timy looks to enjoy the scenery too!
