It has been the 3th time, I've visited Venice, and I do hope, not the last one. This famous town is well known all over the world, and is fascinating to me again and again.
This time, the main reason to go to Venice was, to see the exhibition of Egyption's Faraons in Pallazzo Grassi. About 300 exhibits from museums and private collectors, are placed on view there.
We have overfilled shedule for that day. Cos we made also a short visits to Murano and Burano - really very short visits - just to get an impression - for the next time...
I took some photos ( with my new camera - It was the 1st time I used it) which I like to share with you.

On this bitterly cold day in Chicago, I thought I could use an "Olga warm-weather trip to Venice"!! It has refreshed me; a delight to "stroll" with you to all the lovely canals, palaces, and cappucino, Italian style, cafes.
Venice is a lovely place! I visited on a daytrip a hot summer day, but one day I would like to visit in winter.

A nice Venice page Olga. I have a piece of Murano glass that was my late mum's. I visited here for a day when my son was only a baby that is 17 years ago! Would love to visit again
