Kurukuru sushi. Those are the fast-food sushi shops that have the conveyer belt. If you find a good one stick with it. They do vary with taste from shop to shop. They are good places to eat cheaply and yet satisfy your yen for Japanese food, no pun intended.
Another place that isn't so cheap are any of the Korean BBQ's or yaki-niku. Again, if you find a good one, stick with it. The best one I ever found was a little mom-n-pop run place that was just part of their house. They had THE best Kimchi and beef.
Favorite Dish: kani-sushi or crab sushi, and uba.

Directions: For the kuru-kuru sushi, well they're everywhere. The one I liked was in Yokosuka. Same with the yaki-niku.
