Los Angeles (also known as City of Angels, La La Land or Tinsel town). As you know, we are in the South West part of the U.S. and it's the 2nd most populated city in the U.S. (last time I checked). But that shouldn't scare you, it's definitely a fun fun fun place! Lots of beaches (75 miles of coastline), great sunny weather most part of the year, lots of great little neighborhoods - - the most popular ones being Beverly Hills, Downtown Los Angeles, Venice Beach, Santa Monica and lots of freeways - - so having a rental car is a must and having a good freeway map (or nowadays a GPS) is also a must. Cabs can cost you lots of money. Tour buses are very popular here (your hotel concierge can help arrange that for you). Be prepared to bring home an extra luggage because you'll definitely do a lot of shopping, you'd want to bring home souvenirs and other goodies. Oh and there are a number of fun amusement parks you can visit (Universal, Disneyland, Magic Mountain, Knotts Berry Farm). Oh and did I tell you that L.A. hasn't been shaking lately (thank God) so come visit and enjoy!!
