If you come to Caracas and you want to escape from the noise you can take the sky ride or teleférico to Avila mountain, when you go up ther you can see the entire city in one side, and the caribbean sea in the other side. You can have a great time while you are there, you can eat typical food, do ice skating, etc. You can also go to Galipan, which is a town located in the middle of the mountain where you can go to great restaurants. But if you´re an athletic person you can go up by foot, it´ll take you around 3 or 4 hours, it´s a great excersice...

If you want to know a little about venezuelan history you should go to Simon Bolivar´s house, it´s located in downtown Caracas, and there you can find the original house where the liberator of Venezuela was born. It´s a very nice place to go because you can see how the people used to live back in the 1800´s
