I was going to take a boat across the Chao Phraya to Wat Arun when I felt hungry. I walked through a little local wet market and found myself in a small restaurant at the pier.

Since there was no boat yet, I decided to have a meal. What was really cool was the the girl in the shop offered me some fresh coconut flesh that she was eating, with me !! I was pleasantly surprised :-)

Favorite Dish: This is Phad Thai ~ fried glass noodles with vegetables and some meat. The local ice coffee was wonderful as well :-))

The beautiful settings of this restaurant took my breath away.

You come inside a walled-up bungalow find yourself looking at a fountain courtyard surrounded by high-peaked, lavishly decorated, and air-conditioned Thai pavilions ~ Perfect for a quiet, romantic evening or a fun night for private groups.

Favorite Dish: The food is delicious, a bold marriage of Thai and Western traditions in unique dishes like pork chops with spicy Thai som tam (papaya salad) flavor, whole lobster done in a chili sauce, or imported New Zealand grilled filet with Thai spice and mint.

This is a beautiful restaurant !! Very Wallpaper-ish :-p Cool and calm. And the food is good too.

Favorite Dish: Try the Chocolate dessert - its divine :-)
