5 glorious days in the sun
Weather a little unpredictable but the sun did come up, nevertheless
Zen moment while being one with the waters in the rain
Electrical blackout in Patong on eve of New Year's
Fell in love with a little cafe which serves the best latte and cakes around
Rediscover the joys of doing Nada when on the beach
Greeted 1.1.2009 on the beach
Watched releasing of lanterns to the Heavens + being under the burst of fireworks

November 2005
Spent a lovely longish weekend here, taking up the offer of gracious Marcia & Sam who invited us to their beautiful new home.
And it was a weekend of VT meetings !
Many hours of lazing by the pool and long conversations.
Yummy YUMMY Thai food at Friendship Beach and at Shanti's.
Got nicely burnt in Naiharn beach - Marcia, its been a pleasure floating with you :-)
Relaxing time at the spa nearby
I like !

Was here for just one night but was a good getaway :-)
Made new friends with promises of future meets.
Got tanned !!
The French have a funny sense of humour ! (-;
Lovely food (as usual).

Did not really explore Phuket.
Just its airport and Kata Beach.
I was here when I flew in from Kuala Lumpur, then straight to the pier to catch my boat to the islands.
Came back here and spent one night over at Kata area. Did not head to the beach but hung about Thanon Taina area.
