Clearlake is large, fairly shallow and home to several BASS tournaments (televised even!). I'm not an avid fisherman, so I can't help you with types of bait to use, etc. But, this weekend I watched a couple of guys land a 18.5 lb BASS fishing off the pier at Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa. Just an average day fishing. There are numerous boat & gear rental shops around the lake, including the aforementioned Konocti Harbor. Weather is especially cooperative and the sun smiles down on fishermen almost daily. Today, 10/06/02, was sunny & warm (90 F) with a slight evening breeze. For those more interested in jet ski's and ski boats, those can be rented as well.

An incredible concert venue for both indoor and outdoor concerts! There isn't a bad seat in the house, dinner with your concert is excellent, and your taste in music is sure to be satisfied by the wide variety of BIG NAME acts that grace the stage. Room rates are very reasonable and range from hotel style accomodations to apartment and/or cottages on the beach. The full scale fitness center & spa will pamper you to your hearts content and Sunday's Champagne Brunch will definately satisfy even the most finicky eater. There's also a full service marina which will happily arrange for boat & jet ski rentals.
