Cancun & the Mayan Riviera! Just got back from Cancun at the end of February 2002. Actually we were south of Cancun in the Mayan Riviera. Stayed at a new Mayan Palace which is still in the process of being completed. We went on some day trips to Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Xcaret & Chichen Itza. It took a while to get my pages together, but I am finally done. I hope you will enjoy them. |
Map of Playa del Carmen! Playa has lots of nightlife & prices are less expensive than in Cancun. The fairy also goes from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel daily & the price is reasonnable. |
Map of Cozumel! A side trip to Cozumel is a must. The area has the best snorkling around & there are lots of shops and bars to wonder into for something to do. You can also find some great restaurants on the island. |

When are you going back? We spent two weeks near Merida on the west end of Yucatan. Prices there are much more reasonable, plus no Thong Boy. Your page confirms our idea of what Cancun is like. | tpangelinan Mon May 3, 2004 01:23 UTC
