West Edmonton Mall ! Went to Edmonton with Lynda & her 2 kids the week before spring break which was mid Febuary of 1995. We left Winnipeg after a minor set back from getting our van broken into. We had to get the side window replaced, other than that nothing else was damaged.
The trip from Winnipeg to Edmonton takes about 13 hours of driving, it's about 800 miles (about 1200 kilometers). With only one evening of sleeping in North Battleford & not to many other stops, the kids did get a bit on the cranky side at times. But everyone was happy by the lime we pulled into Edmonton.
When it was time to leave Edmonton to come back home, we took the long way back (the scenic way) going through JASPER & BANFF. We took some very good pictures that you will find in the Travelogues.
