Well, one thing I can guarantee. Beijing will have changed a lot in the 3 1/2 years since I last visited.
I found it a strange place....difficult to pin down. I am tempted to suggest other destinations in China ahead of Beijing, but I will visit again sometime. |

We had the same problem with a rickshaw ride at Tienaman . They changed the price at the end and asked for approx $US50 dollars per person for a ride lasting about 10 mins! We paid what we thought was fair and walked away.they were not happy | anglosaxon Tue Jul 10, 2001 16:59 UTC
