Hi mates, This page is not exclusively informative I'm afraid. It contains experiences and opinions which may not always be helpful to travellers. I'm trying to do everything in English, as a kind of experiment on myself: everything except the e-mails to home. I hope this way my English will improve most and maybe I'll even lose my terrible accent a little. The first five days haven't brought any great travel experiences or beautiful pictures... Mainly stress and frustration and lots of learning the hard way. But Australians really are nice people, that's one positive point (not unimportant) and slowly I'm getting to know some people I live and study with. The challenge continues.... The classes are interesting, but bureaucracy is very tiring! Lots of forms, etc, etc, The weather is like Holland in April: cloudy, an occasional shower (it never really dries up outside), an occasional bit of sunshine, and about 12 degrees. Very much the same every day.
The plan is to use this site to post the things I experience, in the relevant category (like "nightlife" or "activities", etc.), maybe with pictures. This is mainly for myself, kind of like a diary, but because I'm such a nice guy I'll share it with whoever reads this. Sharing is good. Bye now. |
