What can I say... I LOVE Ottawa! This is my hometown- where I was born and where I grew up. Technically though, I grew up in the City of Kanata, one of the regions which used to make up the Ottawa-Carleton region. As of this year, all the regions were merged into the new City of Ottawa. Ottawa is a bilingual city where you can meet as many french speakers as english speakers. It's not too big and not too small, and people here are very friendly. It is like a big city with a lot of history, culture, and major attractions, but also maintains the charming atmosphere of a small city.
