Welcome to Toronto, the capital of Ontario, the 5th largest city in North America! I grew up in Ottawa and moved to Toronto almost 6 years ago. I still don't think I've really gotten used to this bustling city- everyone is always on the go and in a rush. Personally, I find many people here very rude since people in Ottawa are much friendlier. But I guess if you compare Toronto to other large North American cities, Toronto is nicer and cleaner. It is a very multicultural city, which allows you to try cuisine and meet people from all around the world. The city has quite a night life and great shopping.
World-renowned architect Daniel Liebskind has been chosen to redesign the ROM, the largest museum in Canada. Take a look at his striking proposed design in my travelogue. |
