Forze's conquest of the world

by Forze - last update: Oct 12, 2005

In love with Latin America

San Andres beach in Colombia
My love for Latin America started almost 10 years ago when I bought a Lonely Planet guide of Peru. While reading this guide my interest for Latin America strongly grew. Strangely the first Latin country I visited was not Peru but Cuba.

In 2000 I could taste the 'old' Cuba, just before mass tourism overtook this country. After Cuba I visited Panama and also this country made a huge impression on me with its musical temperament. In 2003 I visited Venezuela, also backpacking. It is a country with extremes: from the hot Caribean to the snowy Andes to the steaming Maracaibo. In 2004 and 2005 I visited Colombia and was impressed by the its beauty and the kindness of its people.

The coming years I wish to visit more Latin countries. My urge to visit Peru has not ceased. Maybe next year, 10 years after I bought this Lonely Planet guide, I will finally visit it...

Cruising through Europe

Europe as well is a fine destination to visit. Because of Holland's central position other countries can easliy been visited. In just a few hours driving you can visit cities around Holland. Belgium can be reached within an hour, Paris in four hours and Berlin in five hours. My most recent visits were Brussels, Luxembourg and the Alsace in France.

Rotterdam exposed

For travellers who want to visit Rotterdam I selected 100+ tips and pictures of my city. Rotterdam is an exciting city to visit and has many things to offer. It has nice architecture, relaxed areas, beautiful views and a good nightlife. I hope you enjoy the tips. If you have questions or you want more (specific) tips feel free to email me. I will gladly answer them.
