Restaurant Name: Museo del Jamon
From Reading the reviews on VT I thought this place was a must, But after eating here I was dissapointed. The hams were ok at best some of it reminded me of a ham you would have for sunday dinner at home. The interior of the resteraunt is nice and fun but definetly not a must. Try the shrimp that was good.

This was a VT tip that turned out to be good, Right behind the Palace Hotel is the Taberna la Dolores. You feel like you are a local when you walk in here, we tried many dishes and they were all good. Not sure what kind of beer they had but it was very good too.

Restaurant Name: San Ginés Chocolateria
Make sure to pay/order first and then go sit...they will bring it to you. I went to Madrid thinking that chocoalte and churros was going to be the best thing ever, don't get me wrong it was good but did not live up to the hype, they have the same hot chocolate in paris and the churros are a little greasy...good though. I am sure this would of been much better if i would of just came out of a bar late at night hungry. Don't get me wrong it is good.

Right on the front of the Palace Hotel facing Neptune there is a starbucks, If you are lucky enough to get a seat in the window you can do a lot of people watching....it seems also that everyone looks at you too....don't be shy.
