Must of been Hell.
This fort and its history are very impressive. As you drive here you will noticed how the forest floor is one massive shell crater, there is also some barbed wire trenches still standing. The fort has a small museum and gift shop along with a lot of rooms and guns to see. Make sure to walk around the top of the fort after you see the inside it is still filled with Craters and gun turrets.
