Egypt has got besides its long history a wonderful location in the North East tip of Africa.It looks straight to the Mediterranean.The Red Sea could be found on the East central and South side of Egypt.Also the Suez Canal is found on the North east side of Egypt.The Nile is the longest river in the world.Luxor is said to have one quarter of the monuments in the Entire World.Cairo is the largest city in Egypt followed by Alexandria and Port Said.Egypt has got many beautiful beaches on the Mediterranean like Alexandria, Marsa Matruh and Marina.Also, in Sinai you can find beautiful beaches in Sharm El Shiekh and Hurgada, Dahb and Nweba.Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh, on the Red Sea coast, are doors to a magical underwater world of technicolour fish and coral favoured by divers.In Egypt there are about 14 official monasteries belonging to the Coptic Orthodox Chrurch as well as one monastery "Saint Catherine" in the Sinai Penninsula that belongs to the Greek Orthodox Church.Among the Coptic monasteries in Egypt you can see the famous "Mari Mina" monastery in Maryoot, "Saint Anthony and Saint Paula" monastery in the Red Sea.The Monastery of "El Adraa Syryan","El Anba Bishoy" and "Abu Makaar" in the "Wady el Natroon" desert.
