Just to say hello to everyone out there. I'm Beefy, a fanatical Sunderland (http://www.safc.com) supporter - before you call me a Geordie (Tyneside), I'm not and the word MACKEM (Wearside) is a nearer description, though strictly speaking I'm neither. As for my travels, I've been around let's say - top of the list has to be Tibet, after with there's Nepal, Burma (Myanmar), Thailand, Malaysia (Borneo part), China, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, briefly Kyrgyzstan (walked over the border for a few hours), Russia, Egypt, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy and France. My wish list includes Peru, Vietnam / Cambodia, India (Ladakh), China (East Turkestan), Jordan, Morocco - got to admit this 'War on Terror' (bad move America - why don't you listen to people) has deterred me from India, Jordan and Morroco.

Finally finished Ph.D. (Dr. Beefy now), so hopefully I'll be back on my travels before too long.
