I was only lucky enough to stay in Valencia for a day and a half but I really liked it.
We stayed slightly outside of the city and as we weren't very good at negotiating the transport ended up walking most places so we had the fortune of seeing both every day valencia and touristy.
It was quite humerous watching us (with no spanish knowledge) watching us trying to order some ice lollys in a proper coffee shop in the middle of a housing estate in Valencia. I'm not sure whether the waitress or us was more confused as to what we were doing there! |
